Data Collection and Analysis

Modern thermal stress chambers offer data collection systems that monitor temperature variations and testing duration in real-time, often supporting remote access for comprehensive data analysis.

Application of Thermal Stress Chamber

Electronics and Semiconductors

In the electronics industry, thermal stress chambers are used to test the durability of components such as circuit boards, connectors, and sensors. By simulating these conditions, manufacturers can ensure the reliability of their products in real-world scenarios.

Automotive Industry

Thermal stress chambers helps automotive manufacturers verify that these components can endure harsh conditions without compromising safety or performance. This testing is crucial for ensuring the longevity and reliability of vehicles in diverse climates.

Aerospace and Defense

In aerospace and defense, components are often exposed to extreme temperatures during flight and in space. Thermal stress chambers simulate these conditions to test the resilience of materials and systems used in aircraft, spacecraft, and defense equipment.

Material Science and Research

Researchers and scientists use thermal stress chambers to study the behavior of various materials under extreme temperature changes. This research helps develop new materials with enhanced properties, such as increased strength, flexibility, and thermal resistance.

Medical Devices

Devices such as implants, instruments, and diagnostic equipment must function reliably under varying temperatures. Testing these devices in thermal stress chambers ensures they meet the rigorous standards required for medical applications, guaranteeing patient safety and device efficacy.

Thermal Stress Chamber Installation Requirements
  • Set it on a flat and vibration-free ground (please check with a level);
  • The ambient temperature should be maintained between 10-25 so that the machine can achieve the best stable operation;
  • There should be at least 60 cm distance between the test chamber and the wall and any other machine;

The thermal stress test chamber should be away from heat sources and flammable and explosive substances;

The equipment should not be exposed to direct sunlight and maintain indoor air circulation;

Please avoid setting it in places with antibodies and dust;

The power supply line and water supply and drainage pipelines should be shortened as much as possible.

Equipment Manufacturing Process

Design And Planning

Our designers and engineers determine the functions, parameters and requirements of the equipment, such as size, shape and appearance for planning.

Components preparation

Once the design and planning is complete, we will start preparing the required components. These components may include sensors, electronics, housings, cables, and batteries.

Component Assembly

Once the parts are ready, our professionals will assemble the unit. This process requires careful and precise manipulations. It can ensure the functionality and performance of the device.

Commissioning And Testing

This includes checking circuit connections, sensor accuracy and response time, and overall device performance.

Software Development And Integration

Some devices require software to process and analyze the collected data. Software development may involve programming, algorithm design, and user interface development.

Quality Control And Certification

At every stage of the manufacturing process, our professional quality inspectors will carry out quality control and certification.

Mass Production And Packaging

Once the device passes all tests and certifications, mass production will begin. These include manufacturing multiple devices in order quantities, packaging, and labeling.

FAQ

Q: What is the lead time?

A: Generally, about 7~14 working days for standard models. If we have inventory, we can arrange shipment within 7 days. Please be aware that our production lead time depends on specific items and item quantities.

Q: What is the trade terms and payment terms?

A: We support various types of trade terms, such as EXW, FOB, CIF, DDU, DDP, etc. Payment methods are T/T, Paypal, L/C etc., and it is negotiated.

Q: What is the calibration process?

A: We have our own calibration and third-party calibration by CNAS laboratory in China. You can contact local laboratories such as TUV, SGS, etc for the next calibration.

Q: Can I have my logo on the machine?

A: Yes, of course. We can design and build bespoke test chambers that perform to your exact requirements. OEM and ODM services are available.

Q: What are the standards for thermal stress testing?

A: Thermal stress is usually specified for 15 cycles and a minimum dwell of 2 minutes. MIL-STD-883 states three temperature ranges from Thermal Shock 0 to 100 Degrees Celcius, -55 to 125 Degrees Celcius, or -65 to 150 Degrees Celsius.

Q: How does a thermal stress chamber work?

A: A thermal stress chamber is an advanced configuration of various components that produces a controlled thermal environment. A Thermal stress test chamber works by quickly cycling a test sample between intense high and low temperatures to replicate natural temperature variations and evaluate its strength and consistency.

Q: What is the cycle of the thermal stress test?

A: The thermal stress test cycle involves rapidly transferring a product between extremely hot and cold chambers. This process exposes materials to sudden temperature shifts, assessing durability, structural integrity, and failure resistance under real-world stress conditions.

Q: What is thermal stress failure?

A: Thermal shock failure occurs when a material rapidly expands or contracts due to sudden temperature changes, causing internal stress. This stress can lead to cracks, deformation, or complete structural failure over time.
