Compact Convenience

The benchtop environmental chamber allows it to fit on regular laboratory benches. Its portable design makes it best suited for small spaces. They can integrate with the surroundings without excessive changes or a separate testing facility.

Reduced Movement

The small size of benchtop environmental chambers makes it easy to move them around. It reduces the workforce and time required for relocation. It allows workers to use their time by focusing on other significant tasks.

Thermal cycling and reliability testing of components such as semiconductors.

Material Science

Aging and degradation studies on polymers, coatings, and composites.

Food & Beverage

Shelf-life testing and packaging durability studies.

Medical Devices

Environmental conditioning for implants and diagnostic tools.

Chemical Testing

Stability testing of chemicals, materials, and coatings; corrosion testing.

Composition of Benchtop Environmental Chamber

Benchtop Environmental Chamber mainly consists of the following parts:

Control system

The control system is the brain of the Benchtop Environmental Chamber, which can set and adjust temperature, humidity and other environmental parameters.

Heating and cooling systems

These systems are used to regulate the temperature within the environmental chamber. Heating systems typically use resistive wire or other heating elements, while cooling systems may use refrigerants or other cooling technologies.

Humidity control system

This system can increase or decrease the humidity in the environmental room, usually through a humidifier or dehumidifier.

Testing chamber

This is a sealed space used to place the samples to be tested. The size and design of the test chamber can be customized as needed.

Benchtop Environmental Chamber Usage Requirements
  • You should use a small environmental chamber in strict accordance with the relevant operating procedures and instructions.
  • Some hazardous substances like explosives, combustibles, inflammable, and flammable gases are not allowed to appear in the benchtop chamber.
  • Before pressing the ON button, firstly you should check the power supply equipment to ensure that there is no wire falling off.

The soaked materials must be drip-dried outside the small environmental chamber before you put it into the chamber.

It is unreasonable for you to put a lot of samples at one time. For the reason that this approach will affect the gas flow, leading to inaccurate experimental data.

If you want to fetch the sample in the process of an experiment, you should wear heat-resistance gloves or use a pick-up tool.

When a small environmental chamber is running, please do not put anything on the top of the machine.

Tailored Customizations for Unique Testing Requirements

The right customizations can ensure the chamber aligns precisely with the specific demands of the product. Here are distinctive customizations that address unique testing requirements and can be found in custom benchtop environmental chambers:

Tensile Tests

Products composed of various metals, plastics, paper, fabrics, fibers, composites, or films must often be evaluated for their strength and resilience. If you need to conduct tensile tests at different temperatures, look for a chamber that uses a refrigeration system instead of liquid nitrogen for cooling. This is more cost efficient and allows more flexibility in testing.

Water Exposure

For products frequently exposed to wet or rainy conditions, customized chambers are designed to simulate these specific environmental challenges. Rain and spray test chambers allow manufacturers to assess a product's ability to withstand moisture, ensuring ingress of moisture thru sealed packaging isn’t possible.

Dust Exposure

Industries dealing with equipment prone to accumulating dust or particles over time can opt for customized settling dust chambers. These chambers mimic the accumulation of dust and particles, allowing manufacturers to determine if dust will get into the product enclosure.

Packaging and Shipping

Packaging

First, seal chamber with waterproof plastic film.Protect chamber from seawater corrosion.

Second, buffer foam is placed in the four corners of the chamber. It is used for fixing equipment to prevent shaking and damaging chamber during transportation.

Plywood: Standard wood export packaging. The wooden box is fixed by sheet metal to prevent damage during transportation.

FAQ

Q: What is the lead time?

A: Generally, about 7~14 working days for standard models. If we have inventory, we can arrange shipment within 7 days. Please be aware that our production lead time depends on specific items and item quantities.

Q: What is the trade terms and payment terms?

A: We support various types of trade terms, such as EXW, FOB, CIF, DDU, DDP, etc. Payment methods are T/T, Paypal, L/C etc., and it is negotiated.

Q: What is the calibration process?

A: We have our own calibration and third-party calibration by CNAS laboratory in China. You can contact local laboratories such as TUV, SGS, etc for the next calibration.

Q: Can I have my logo on the machine?

A: Yes, of course. We can design and build bespoke test chambers that perform to your exact requirements. OEM and ODM services are available.

Q: How do benchtop environmental chambers work?

A: When the Benchtop Environmental Chamber starts running, the control system will first set the required environmental parameters, such as temperature, humidity, etc. Heating and cooling systems then adjust the temperature in the test chamber based on these settings, while a humidity control system adjusts the humidity.

Q: What is the temperature humidity in the benchtop environmental chamber?

A: Environmental chambers are designed for four primary applications: humidity chambers, climate test chambers, photostability chambers, and growth chambers. Humidity chambers are designed to control temperatures from ambient to, most commonly, 70°C and humidity levels from 10% to 98% RH.

Q: What safety features are included?

A: Common safety features include over-temperature protection, humidity alarms, door interlocks, and circuit breakers.

Q: What maintenance is required for a benchtop environmental chamber?

A: Regular cleaning, calibration, inspection of system components, monitoring of chamber conditions, maintenance of door seals, and lubrication of moving parts will help to extend the life of the chamber and keep it functioning optimally.

Q: How noisy is the operation?

A: They are generally quiet enough for lab environments, producing between 50–65 dB during operation, depending on cooling type.
