In August, LIB Industry's General Manager personally visited customers in Malaysia and Singapore to provide after-sales support, highlighting the company's "3-Year Warranty, Lifetime Maintenance" policy in action.

 

Malaysia – Customer-Specific Testing Needs

In Penang, Malaysia, LIB supported a toy car manufacturer using the TH-800A Temperature and Humidity Test Chamber. Although the chamber was performing normally, the customer requested a very specific testing condition of 23 °C and 90% RH while placing specimens inside cardboard boxes, with the additional requirement that no water should appear in the test chamber.

Humidity System Optimization – Adjusted the water cup position for the humidity sensor and controlled water levels to prevent overflow.

Refrigeration Balance – Modified PID parameters to reduce evaporator frosting and prevent water leakage from the chamber's drain holes.

The visit underlined the importance of early communication: when customers have unique testing requirements, these can be integrated during the design and production stage to ensure seamless performance.

 

Singapore – Warranty in Action

In Singapore, a customer using the TH-0016B Walk-In Chamber reported that the system could not cool down to -40 °C and that the compressor had developed abnormal noise after years of continuous operation. Since the chamber was still within LIB's 3-year warranty period, the engineering team replaced the compressor with a brand-new unit at no cost. This immediate action ensured minimal downtime and reassured the customer of LIB's strong warranty commitment.

During the same trip, LIB engineers also visited the National University of Singapore (NUS) to carry out preventive maintenance on a Composite Salt Spray Chamber. The service included inspection of water and electrical lines, spray tower and system cleaning, as well as checks on temperature and humidity controls.
